More about our wedding

The Ceremony
  The Reception

3:30 pm Life Church, Fort Collins Colorado
Website - Map

We will be married at about 3:30pm at Life Church in Fort Collins, by Pastor Jeff Crabtree.

Life Church is a non-denominational church.  There are no expectations of those attending, just come and enjoy being with us.  Yvette and I are both devoted Christians, so our ceremony will reflect that, however- we don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable.

We don’t have a lot of details yet but keep watching this page for more!

We are planning for now to show a slide show prior to the ceremony (email us any pictures you may want to include!)

After the ceremony, the wedding party and a few family and honored guests will be staying behind for photos.  Meanwhile, we want you to be our guests for a reception.

What to bring:

-your camera

-video camera

-cash for the money dance and cocktails afterward

-Dress as you see fit for a semi-formal reception

-YOUR DANCIN SHOES!

Fun, Dancing, Cake- everyone always wants to know about the reception!

We talked at length about this, and we decided that our priorities were to have as many people attending our wedding as possible.

We also decided that we didn’t want to use any credit for our wedding.  Yvette’s parents were very generous and we’ll be able to contribute a little bit ourselves.  But ultimately, the wedding reception is going to be fairly simple.  We’re sure they’ll be questions…

So here goes…

What to Expect

Expect a light buffet-style meal, cold cuts, vegetables, that sort of thing.  Please let us know if there are any specific dietary needs you have and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.

Expect water, soda, coffee and tea to be available.  However, we have decided not to have any alcoholic beverages at our reception.  If there’s enough interest, perhaps a brewery tour can be arranged on Friday; but for a variety of reasons we felt that it would be best to just keep it simple at our reception.

Your Host will be DJ’s friend and fellow mobile entertainer Robert Krueger of Krueger Wedding Entertainment.  We will be welcoming any requests and, yes… Dancing will be happening later on!

DJ and Yvette don't want you to wait for them to start eating.  Why? DJ has done hundreds of weddings as an MC (DJ), and knows all too well how the flow of weddings often go.  We will be taking some photos and then coming to the reception sometime around 6:00.  The big message here is DON'T WAIT FOR US TO GET THERE- eat and be merry!

Welcome to the Deej and Evey Show

(Games, Kids and such)
Most people that know us well know that watching us is like watching your favorite TV Show, and we want our wedding to reflect that!

We are hoping to put together some activities for kids of all ages while we are doing our photographs.  There will be a Kids play area set up.  We are also planning on some fun activities- gameshow style trivia games with prizes and gifts from us to you!  We are hoping you'll interact with people you don't know to find answers to questions and win!  The more you interact, the more you'll win!

Expect a few special events before dancing begins:

-Toasts
-Cake (nom, nom!)
-Special Dances including an Generations/Anneversary Dance
-A Money Blessing Dance (proceeds go toward our Honeymoon Fund!)

After the Reception

Gift Opening

Details coming soon- the plan is to either gather at a conference room at a local hotel or go out to a bar or two!

Sunday around 11:30- the plan right now is to use the conference room at Quality Inn to open gifts and spend some time with family before we leave for our honeymoon!  If this changes we'll be sure to let you know!
